Dr. Julianne Fisher - Medical Director

Dr. Julianne Fisher is the Medical Director at England Run Veterinary Clinic, where she has dedicated nearly 22 years to providing exceptional care to the community's pets.

Originally from Michigan, Dr. Fisher earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Michigan State University. Immediately following vet school, she relocated to Northern Virginia to complete a rigorous one-year rotating internship in small animal internal medicine and surgery at the Regional Veterinary Referral Center (RVRC). She fell in love with the area and has proudly called Northern Virginia home for nearly 25 years. 

Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Fisher has developed a strong clinical interest in complex internal medicine cases and advanced abdominal ultrasound. As Medical Director, she combines her extensive clinical expertise with a passion for mentorship, guiding the medical team to maintain the highest standards of veterinary care.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Fisher is an avid traveler who loves exploring new destinations both across the United States and overseas. She is particularly passionate about the outdoors and is on a lifelong mission to visit as many U.S. National Parks as possible. At home, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and her two beloved dogs, Arlo and Penni.
