Dr. Katherine Trexel

Dr. Katherine Trexel knew she wanted to become a veterinarian from a young age and has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care for pets.

She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before completing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at North Carolina State University. Following veterinary school, she pursued an intensive one-year rotating internship in New Jersey.

After returning to the DMV area, Dr. Trexel spent 12 years at a large primary and referral care center before joining England Run Veterinary Clinic, where she has proudly cared for patients since 2015. She has a special passion for surgery and dentistry and enjoys helping pets live healthier, more comfortable lives. While she loves caring for all animals, she has a particular soft spot for cats.
